CONGRATULATIONS, BULLDOGS!!!

For the past couple of months Dave has been coaching this team of 11 girls ages 7-9 and yesterday they won their season ending tournament going undefeated! (in the tourney)
Our season record was 6-5-1, but everything started to "click" with the girls half way through the season and they just kept getting better and better!
In the tournament we were seeded #5. We won our first game and then went on to beat the #1, #2 and #4 seeds before beating the #1 team again in the Championship game yesterday.
Way to go girls!!!

Here are the girls as they were heading to to dugout to start the game in about 95 degree heat!
The heat was awful. I was drenched- that is no exaggeration! But, another big shout out to myself- the most awesome scorekeeper ever- I only shorted us one run this game! :) (I caught it the following inning- no harm done!)

This season was so much fun and Dave had THE BEST people to help him with the coaching. All of the parents in the stands with me were awesome and I was just thankful that they were not embarrassed by my enthusiasm! Actually, there were 4 other moms who were equally as "enthusiastic" as I was! :)
~Note to SRA: You may not want to put Julie Day and Carol Boone together again next season!
The girls were super excited to get trophies.

~Here's the proud Daddy with his favorite player~
The girls dumped two little coolers of ice cold water on Dave- it was so cute!
Then, on to a celebration at the ice cream shop!
GREAT SEASON, GIRLS!!!

Cute post Jday! Very sweet to see Dave with all the girls. I bet he was a great coach. You know those little girls just loved him.

Good job Bulldogs--I AM partial to Bulldogs--great mascot!

Love the new color template! It reminds me of Disney.

I NEED to call you! I will try to this week--maybe tomorrow.
